Assessment

Under our grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, we have agreed to perform comprehensive assessment and evaluation of all parts of the Hughes Undergraduate Biology Program. This includes course evaluations on all Hughes funded courses, program evaluations on undergraduate research and pre-college and outreach programs. The Hughes team is currently working on incorporating more learning outcomes based assessment into our courses.

In the right navigation bar, there is a link that opens the .pdf of the current year's assessment plan for the Department of Cell Biology & Neuroscience, which encompasses the plan for the HUB program as well. Also in this navigation bar is a link to further resources for faculty and others interested in assessment.

For further questions on the assessment goals or actual implementation of the plan, please contact Nick Lux at nicklux@cns.montana.edu or 406-994-7572.
